Concerned citizens from around the mitten gathered in Lansing on May 19th to hear from leading voices within Michigan’s government. Speakers included Senators Tom Casperson, Patrick Colbeck, Phil Pavlov, Representatives Lee Chatfield and Gary Glenn, Ed Rivet (Right to Life of Michigan), and Reverend Dr. Richard Zeile of the State Board of Education.
A variety of topics were discussed, including:
- the sale of fetal body parts
- transgender locker rooms/parental rights
- Common Core
- social studies standards
- Pastor Protection Act
- How to make a difference
- Pro-life legislation and victories
Feedback from the event was very positive. One attendee summed up the day by commenting, “It was very encouraging to hear from some of the few leaders who do stand up for the truth.”
