We are excited to invite you to the 2017 Citizens for Traditional Values Legislative Briefing on Thursday, May 18 in downtown Lansing! Held in conjunction with the INCH Leadership Conference, the Legislative Briefing brings policymakers and activists together to give you a better understanding on what is going on behind the scenes in Lansing and what you can do to effectively advocate for traditional values in Michigan. This year, we will place a special focus on education issues with Senate and House Education Committee chairs Sen. Phil Pavlov and Rep. Tim Kelly, along with a general legislative overview by Sen. Mike Shirkey and Rep. Lana Theis.

The Legislative Briefing has been held annually for the past 22 years, providing access to statewide elected and organizational leaders as well as policy experts. Citizens and activists travel from all across Michigan to gain insight on the priorities of the state legislature, upcoming elections, and ways citizens can be more effective in their local community.
